Taxpayer money and the NDP

Week after week, the NDP government seems ever more intent on demonstrating how out of touch it is with Albertans' priorities.

Week after week, the NDP government seems ever more intent on demonstrating how out of touch it is with Albertans' priorities.

In Calgary alone, based on present trends, 7000 businesses will be shuttered before the end of the year.  The NDP would rather not discuss Alberta's economy - sound policy rarely jibes with NDP ideology.

The NDP is instead focused on massive public subsidies to political parties.

The NDP's lacklustre fundraising doesn't mean hardworking Albertans should fund their next campaign.  It's particularly egregious given the NDP government is spending $4 million in taxpayer dollars to advertise their new carbon tax while next election it appears the other parties will have less than half that amount to get their own messages out.

Between taxpayer funded government ads and taxpayer dollars to fund party operations, the NDP has shown they will stop at nothing to give themselves the upper hand heading into the next election.

We simply can't let there be any chance of a second term of this government.  Please sign our petition and make sure we have one principled, united, conservative voice in time for the next election.

Sincerely,

Prem Singh
